Dear Rupert by Maybepink
Dear Rupert,
You will be happy to know that I have arrived safely in Lhasa. Tibet is full of exotic sights and ancient, mysterious religions. A well-rounded academic like myself can only be intrigued. You picked the right man for the job.
Love Sincerely
Yours,
Andrew

Dear Rupert,
I have made contact with Daniel Osbourne. He's not what I expected at all. Maybe I was pre-conditioned by Teen Wolf, but he seems much more sedate than I would have imagined. He does share a certain small boned beauty with the young Michael J. Fox...
Sorry, Rupert, I know you don't share my appreciation of popular culture. We leave tomorrow. I will try my best to keep in touch.
Sincerely Yours,
Andrew

Dear Rupert,
Our mission has been a success! Sorry it took me so long to write to you. I, being the naive that I am, had not realized just how isolated our destination was. The monks were great. I kept asking them to teach me their secret martial art, but they refused, insisting flying techniques only exist in movies. Ha!
Other than that disappointment, the trip was fulfilling both personally and professionally. More on the personal stuff later. I am enclosing the mystical object with this letter. I hope it's what you were looking for. Be very careful when you touch it, it has quite the punch. Oz sewed the top half of my pinkie back on himself, and it's almost healed back to new. He's amazing.
Rupert, I know this will be difficult news for you to hear, but I won't be returning to London for some time. I may be your best man, but I have needs, too. Oz and I are going to backpack through Asia. You should see us! My hair was already shaggy, but now his has grown out, and we look like Merry and Pippin. And like those two, I believe we have found a love that will last a lifetime.
Perhaps someday I shall return to the fold. I know that you and the new Watcher's Council need me in the fight against Evil. But if or when I do return, I will have Oz by my side. Ours is an epic love, the kind of romance...
Oz says I'm writing too much and you're probably getting annoyed. Also, hi.
I will write again when I have the resources.
Sincerely Yours,
Andrew
